In the lab

Active in the laboratory, the literature, and the consultation room.

Research is a daily practice rather than a separate pursuit — the questions raised in clinic are followed into the lab and the literature, then carried back to the patients they began with.

A note from Dr Kirshenbaum

Practice informed by the latest evidence.

Research is an important part of how I care for my patients. Medicine is constantly evolving, and being involved in research allows me to stay at the forefront of new developments and bring the most up-to-date, evidence-based care into my practice.

I am actively involved in clinical research in reproductive medicine, with a focus on improving outcomes through personalised and thoughtful treatment approaches. My areas of interest include fertility preservation, recurrent miscarriage, and optimising treatment strategies in assisted reproductive technologies.

I have published my work in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at international conferences. This ongoing involvement ensures that my clinical practice is informed by the latest evidence, while always tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Alongside my research, I am involved in teaching and supporting medical students, contributing to the next generation of doctors in women’s health and fertility care.
